Itinerary

Once we arrive in Lima, we will be pick up and transfer to the hotel.

After check-in at the hotel, we will have free day for shopping or resting.

Overnight in Lima

Morning:. Lima City tour

At 9am, transfer from our accommodation to start our Lima city tour, we will start with Visit to “Pucllana Pyramid” then Historical Center of Lima with more than fifty monuments and Colonial edifications, such as the Paseo de la República, the San Martín Square, the Main Square, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, and the City Council Palace amongst others, San Francisco Convent. Return to hotel in Lima around 1pm

Afternoon:. Visit to Barranco and Pachacaman ruins

At 2 pm, I will pick you up from your hotel in Lima to begin our excursion to the Pachacamac ruins and site museum. It houses one of the most important archaeological sites of ancient Peru. Its modern facilities display artifacts found at the sanctuary, such as ceramics, textiles, and offerings dedicated to the god Pachacamac. Through its galleries, visitors discover the history, culture, and spirituality that flourished in this sacred valley for over a thousand years.

We will visit the great temple known as the Acllahuasi, where the “Chosen Women of the Sun” lived, the Painted Temple, the Palace of Taurichumpi, and the Temple of the Sun, among others. Here, the Incas established one of the main administrative and religious centers of their empire. In the site museum, which houses a replica of the idol of the god Pachacamac, as well as artifacts found in the area.

We will then continue to the Barranco district and the Bridge of Sighs. The Bridge of Sighs, located in the bohemian district of Barranco, is one of Lima’s most romantic and emblematic spots. Surrounded by colorful houses and street art, this wooden bridge holds legends of impossible loves and eternal sighs. It is said that whoever crosses it for the first time without breathing will have their wish granted.

We begin our return to the hotel in Lima, arriving at approximately 6:00 p.m.

Overnight in Lima

Pick up from your accommodation in Lima around 4:30 am.

We’ll make a short stop en route to buy breakfast—artisan bread—at Don Roberto. (Breakfast not included)

Arrival in Paracas and we’ll head to the port for our Ballestas Islands tour. During the tour, you’ll see El Candelabro (a huge geoglyph of uncertain origin). Then we’ll continue towards the Ballestas Islands, which are made up of rock formations where we’ll observe important marine wildlife from our boat, including guano birds such as the guanay cormorant, the Peruvian booby, and the Inca tern, among others. We’ll also see the famous sea lions and the charming Humboldt penguins. Return to Paracas Bay.

On our way to Ica, we’ll have a tasting of tejas and chocotejas, typical treats of the region. You’ll have ample time to enjoy the best of Ica’s cuisine.

We will taste different wines such as Burgundy, altar wine, fruit maceration, Pisco, and others. Each tasting will be accompanied by typical phrases from Ica.

After lunch, we begin our drive to the city of Huacachina. This oasis arose from the upwelling of underground water currents, which allows for the existence of vegetation composed of palm trees, eucalyptus, and carob trees known as huarango. This is an ideal place to disconnect from your routine and take a break.

Adventure sports enthusiasts can take part in the famous dune buggies, enjoying a beautiful ride across sand dunes of varying sizes, and can also try sandboarding.

We will be leaving back to Lima at 7:00 pm with approximate arrival at 11:45 pm.

Breakfast in the hotel and transfer to the airport for your return flight.
