Upon arrival in Cusco, reception at the airport / bus station and transfer to upscale hotel in the city center.

The day will be free to rest and acclimatize to the altitude.

Overnight in Cusco

We will pick you up between 04:10– 04:30am. Then we are going to set out on a drive through the South Valley. The drive takes around 3 hours to get Hanchipacha community where we are going to stop for breakfast. After that we are going to drive you 15 minutes more to Quesiuno community (4,326 m / 14,189 ft.), where we are going to start with the trekking of 3 hours approx. long to the rainbow mountain .In the way up we are going to be able to enjoy amazing landscapes of herds of alpacas and llamas, the Ausangate Mountain, many red mountains and traditional local houses. When we finally reach the Rainbow Mountains (5,020 m / 16,466 ft.), you will have time to explore the area and take pictures. We will spend approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour (depend of your trekking speed and weather conditions).

After the amazing view of the landscapes on the top we are going to down to the beginning of our trekking point, that take 2 hours approx. (Quesiuno community) where we are going to take our transportation to Hanchipacha community to have lunch. Then you are going to be drive to Cusco, and drop you at Regocijos square 2 blocks from Main Square.

Overnight in Cusco

Pick up from our hotel in Cusco in the morning around 4am. We will go to the train station in Ollantaytambo, about 1.30h from Cusco, then we will embark on this extraordinary train ride to Machu Picchu where you will have beautiful views. The train passes through beautiful ecosystems then have your camera ready to take pictures.
Approximately four hours after our departure from Cusco, we will arrive at the train station in Aguas Calientes (the town located at the bottom of Machu Picchu). Where our expert guide will be waiting. Together we will take the bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu that lasts 25 minutes.
Arriving at Machu Picchu, we will enter the site (do not forget your passport), and our guide will give us a tour of the citadel for 2 hours. After the guided tour, there will be free time to explore, take pictures.
After exploring Machu Picchu, we will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes. Then you can enjoy the restaurants, explore the village, or relax.
In the afternoon we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our driver will be waiting and will take us back to our accommodation in Cusco.

Overnight in Cusco

Pick up from your accommodation from 4:10 to 4:30 a.m., then we will continue with our trip by bus until the city of Mollepata  where we will enjoy a typical breakfast in the area.

After breakfast we will return to our bus to continue our tour,  to Soraypama.  We travel along a photogenic path called the “Camino Real,” as we gain altitude. After reaching the tiny village, where few amenities exist, we will start our hike to the Humantay Lake at an altitude of 4,250 m.s.m., our ascent lasts about an hour and a half until we reach the Humantay Lake. After conquering the last hill, we will gaze down on a turquoise lake below, which is surrounded by steep peaks and an impressive glacier

When we arrive at this beautiful Humantay lake, we will have about 1 hour to be able to enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds us and also fill us with the energy that this mountain of the snowy Salkantay has.

When you are ready to hike back down, we will descend to Soraypampa, while enjoying the breathtaking panoramic views of the snowy peaks.

We will continue the trip to Mollepata where we will enjoy our lunch and after that we will return to Cusco, arriving at the city at 18:30h

 The bus will leave au at Plaza Regocijo, only 2 blocks from the main square.

Overnight in Cusco

Breakfast in the hotel and transfer to the airport for your return flight.
