Itinerary
Once we arrive in Lima, we will be pick up and transfer to the hotel.
Note. Recommended to arrive before 12pm
Afternoon:. Lima City tour
At 2pm, transfer from our accommodation to start our Lima city tour, we will start with Visit to “Pucllana Pyramid” then Historical Center of Lima with more than fifty monuments and Colonial edifications, such as the Paseo de la República, the San Martín Square, the Main Square, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, and the City Council Palace amongst others, San Francisco Convent. Return to hotel in Lima around 6pm
Overnight in Lima
Departure from Lima between 5:30 am and 6:00 am. We pick up directly from hostels in the Miraflores area.
Around 10:00 am, we will arrive in Paracas and head to the port for our first visit: the Ballestas Islands. This is a 2-hour boat tour of the islands. The Ballestas are a smaller version of the Galapagos and just as fantastic. You will see sea lions, penguins, and many birds in their natural habitat. If you are lucky, you might even see one or three dolphins.
After the visit, we will continue to Huacachina. On the way, we will visit a Pisco Vineyard – see how pisco, Peru’s national drink, is made, from grape to bottle, and enjoy free samples.
Upon arrival in Huacachina, you will have free time to explore the Huacachina Oasis. The weather here is always sunny and warm, so why not take a walk through the stunning oasis?
In the afternoon, we’ll have our buggy ride and sandboarding – two adrenaline-filled hours. Ride a buggy up and sandboard down the largest dunes in South America. A unique experience in South America’s only natural desert oasis.
Overnight in Huacachina.
**Important Note** Due to the size of the town, we do not pick up or drop off at hotels and hostels here. The central meeting point is Wild Rover Hostel.
At 6:45 am, the meeting point is Wild Rover Hostel. Private transfer from Huacachina directly to Nazca Airport with Nazca Shuttle. Upon arrival at the airport, check in for your flight.
Approximately 35 minutes flight time. Nazca Lines Overflight – An overflight of the Nazca Lines is the only way to truly appreciate, from a unique perspective, the immense scale and intricate details of the famous Nazca Lines, enormous geoglyphs etched into the Nazca Desert. Best viewed from the air, the Nazca Lines include various shapes such as animals, plants, and geometric patterns, with some of the most famous figures being the monkey, the spider, and the hummingbird.
12:30 pm Free time in Nazca. Explore the desert city and discover some of its iconic landmarks, such as the Plaza de Armas.
At 3 pm, private transfer from Nazca directly to Huacachina with Nazca Shuttle.
You’ll have time to eat before the bus departs, and afterward, you can sit back and relax in the reclining seats while enjoying a classic film.
Arrival in Lima around 11:00 PM, transfer to your hotel
Overnight in Lima
Breakfast in the hotel and transfer to the airport for your return flight.
